Mexican catering in Eastleigh, from our truck or trailer

Mobile Mexican catering means the kitchen comes to you: our food truck or trailer parks at your venue and we serve hot food straight from the hatch. You do not need a kitchen at the venue. On the menu are a build-your-own taco bar, burritos and tacos, and it’s a good fit for school fairs and fundraisers and markets and community events.

In Eastleigh, an event with a food truck generally means a garden with drive access, a hall or club with a car park, or a hired venue. All of them can work, as long as the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Food and drinks can be booked together or separately, so one caterer can cover more of the day.

Planners, venues and businesses

Events in public spaces, like parks, typically need permission. We can send what the landowner or council needs from us.

Throwing a party at home? Send a photo of the space and tell us about access, and we will let you know if it’s a good fit.

A closer look at the menu

Tacos

Street tacos are small, quick and full of flavour. They come with fresh salsas and toppings, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests.

Burritos and burrito bowls

Rice, beans, a filling and toppings rolled in a large tortilla, or the same served in a bowl.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label dishes for guests with allergies.

Mexican catering or something else?

A cold buffet is simple but tends to sit out for hours. Our food is served hot, one order at a time. Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.

What you get with us

  • Allergen information for every dish
  • Food and drinks from one caterer, if you want both

How the day works

We arrive in good time before service, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. Guests come up to order when service opens. Evenings in Eastleigh stay light until about 9:25pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:10pm. For anything running past sunset, think about lights near the hatch.

  1. Begin with the date, the place and the numbers.
  2. Expect a suggested menu and a quote.
  3. Closer to the day, we confirm timings and arrangements.
  4. At the agreed time, service starts from the truck or trailer.
  5. We pack away when service is over.

Preparing for the day

  • Name one person we can ask on the day
  • Arrange somewhere covered for guests to eat
  • Tell us when you want service to start

Questions from Eastleigh

How far is Eastleigh from central London?

About 65 miles from central London, and we cover it.

Can you cater a reception after a service at Church of the Resurrection?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.

How much does Mexican catering cost?

There is no fixed price list, as each event is different. Send your details and you’ll get a quote for your event.

What about power on site?

Let us know what’s available on site, such as a supply from the venue near where we’ll park, and we’ll confirm the arrangements with your quote.

Can we have a build-your-own taco bar?

Yes, a taco bar is one of the ways we serve. Let us know your numbers and space and we will suggest the best set-up.

Can you cater for special diets?

We plan carefully for diets and keep options separate, though we can’t guarantee a kitchen with no trace of any allergen. Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us first.

How does your Mexican catering work?

We park our truck or trailer at your venue and serve hot Mexican street food from it. A build-your-own taco bar is another option.

What if it rains?

We can still serve in the rain. Have somewhere covered ready for guests.
