What affects the price
- Guest numbers. Most caterers work to a minimum spend or minimum number of guests, and the cost per head usually falls as numbers rise.
- The menu. How many fillings, whether it’s tacos, a taco bar, burritos or bowls, and any sides to share.
- Serving time. A two-hour evening slot is different from a lunch and evening service.
- Drinks and staff. A drinks bar, bar staff and any extra serving staff.
- Travel and access. Distance, parking, ULEZ in London, and how long we need on site.
What other caterers charge
At the time of writing, published prices for Mexican street-food catering in the South East ranged from about £11 to £45 per head, often with a minimum spend or a minimum of 20 to 50 guests. Our cost guide lists named examples with links. Prices change and include different things, so always compare like with like.
