Mobile Mexican Catering
Wedding Mexican catering
Mexican street food for your wedding: a build-your-own taco bar for the wedding breakfast, tacos or burritos for evening guests, and a margarita bar to go with them.
- Marquee and garden weddings
- Barn and farm weddings
- Relaxed wedding breakfasts
Wedding Mexican catering, served fresh at your event
A Mexican wedding menu is relaxed, colourful and easy to share. A build-your-own taco bar lets guests choose their own fillings, salsas and toppings, so meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans all eat the same meal, and nobody is left with a token option.
We can cater one part of the day or several: a taco bar for the wedding breakfast, a food truck for evening guests, nachos and guacamole to share, and a Mexican drinks bar with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas. Tell us how you picture the day and we’ll suggest a plan.

How it works
- You tell us your date, venue, guest numbers and how you picture the day.
- We plan the menu with you and send a quote.
- We agree timings with you and your venue, around speeches and photos.
- On the day we set up and serve each part of the menu as planned.
- We pack down when service ends, and any staff you’ve booked stay as agreed.
Timings on the day
Street food is served to order, so we plan service around your speeches and photos and agree with your venue coordinator where the truck or taco bar goes. For a sit-down feel, a taco bar can be served to each table in turn.
Evening food
A taco truck is a popular evening option: hot, filling food served quickly while the dancing carries on. Tell us roughly how many evening guests you expect.
What it costs
We quote every event individually. Contact us for a quote. As a guide, published prices from other Mexican street-food caterers ranged from about £11 to £45 per head at the time of writing, often with a minimum spend or a minimum number of guests. Our cost guide lists named examples with links, and explains what changes the price.

Mexican street food compared with other event catering
| Option | Good for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Mexican food truck | Served fresh to order; guests choose their own fillings; easy to cover vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests | Needs level access for the truck or trailer and space for a queue |
| Hog roast | Popular for big outdoor events | Harder for vegetarian and vegan guests; one main dish |
| Barbecue | Casual and familiar | Food comes off in batches, so queues build; weather-dependent |
| Cold buffet | Simple to serve; no vehicle access needed | Food can sit out for a while; less of an occasion |
| Plated meal | Formal and traditional | Needs a kitchen, more staff and usually costs more per head |

Wedding Mexican catering: questions
Can you do our whole wedding menu?
We can cater the wedding breakfast, evening food and drinks, or just one part of the day. Tell us what you have in mind.
Is a taco bar suitable for a wedding breakfast?
Yes. A build-your-own taco bar is relaxed but still a proper meal, and it handles mixed diets well. See our guide to street food wedding breakfasts.
Can we have a tasting?
Ask us when you enquire and we’ll explain the options.
What if it rains?
The truck serves in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat. We’ll talk it through with you and your venue beforehand.
Where do you cater?
Across London and the South East: London, Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire and the Isle of Wight. Find your area.
How do I get a quote?
Send us your date, venue or postcode, guest numbers and any dietary needs through our quote form, and we’ll reply with a menu and a quote.
