Mexican catering for your event in Windsor
Mobile Mexican catering means the kitchen comes to you: our food truck or trailer parks at your venue and we serve hot food straight from the hatch. You do not need a kitchen at the venue. It suits leaving parties and charity and school events, with loaded nachos, burrito bowls and fresh salsas and guacamole.
In Windsor, an event with a food truck typically means a garden with drive access, a hall or club with a car park, or a hired venue. All of them can work, as long as the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Access, space and power are agreed with you beforehand, so there are no surprises on arrival.

DIY taco night or a caterer?
Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.
Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Contact us for a quote to compare.
Windsor questions
What’s the nearest station to Windsor for guests?
Guests can use Windsor & Eton Central station, about 1 mile north-east of Windsor.
Could you serve in Sutherland Grange?
Only with permission from whoever runs the park, often the council. Ask them first, and we will help with the information they need from us.
Do you provide plates and napkins?
Ask us when you enquire. Tell us what your venue provides, and we’ll confirm what’s included with your quote.
Is the food suitable for children?
Yes. We can keep dishes mild, and simple options such as quesadillas or nachos can be part of the menu. Include children in your numbers.
How long are you on site?
We arrive in good time to set up before service. Serving times are agreed with you in advance, along with pack-down.
Can you do gluten-free food?
Yes, with corn tortillas. Corn tortillas are naturally gluten-free, but some fillings, sauces and toppings may not be, so we check every dish and give allergen information.
Can we add a bar?
Our drinks bar can be added to any booking, with bar staff serving margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas. Alcohol needs the right licence, so we’ll check that with you.
Is the food made fresh?
We slow-cook fillings ahead, then finish them and keep them hot at your event. Tortillas are warmed on site, and salsas and guacamole are made fresh.
Planners, venues and businesses
Hosting a party at home? Send us a picture of the space and tell us about the drive and gates, and we will tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.
If you are booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we will explain how it works. We are happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.

Space, access and the venue
Every venue is different, so we will ask about yours before we confirm. Generally, we look for:
- Access wide and high enough to drive in, with gates and soft lawns checked first
- Hardstanding or firm, level ground to park on
- Some distance from houses and neighbours
If you are unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think.

The process
Once service is over, we pack up and leave our area tidy. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. Around midsummer it stays light in Windsor until about 9:25pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:05pm, so summer evening events are usually served in daylight. In December it is dark by about 3:55pm, so winter events need lighting around the truck and the queue.
- First, send us your date, venue, numbers and any diets we should know about.
- You get a suggested menu, with fillings agreed with you, and a quote.
- Before the day, we agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
- On the day we arrive, set up and serve hot food from our food truck or trailer.
- After service, we clear away and leave the spot tidy.
Before we arrive
- Confirm numbers and diets before the day
- Measure any gates or arches on the way in
- Choose a level, firm spot for the truck or trailer
