Wedding Mexican catering near Winchester

Should I do it myself?

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Read our guide to taco bars.

Wedding Mexican catering in Winchester, served fresh

We can cater the wedding breakfast, the evening food or both. One option is a taco bar for the main meal and tacos or nachos later on. It suits vow renewals and blessings and late-evening wedding food, serving quesadillas, evening tacos and a taco bar for the wedding breakfast.

Wedding receptions in and around Winchester often use a hotel, a hired venue or a family garden. Whichever you choose, we’ll agree access and the serving spot with the venue, including any town-centre loading times. Access, space and power are agreed with you beforehand, so set-up goes smoothly.

Step by step

When we arrive, we position the truck or trailer and get the serving area ready. We are ready to serve at the agreed time, so everything runs to your schedule. Late-September weddings in Winchester see the sun go down at about 7:10pm, which can put the evening food just after dusk. A late-May wedding keeps its light until roughly 8:55pm.

  1. Send us your wedding date, venue and numbers.
  2. We plan the wedding breakfast, evening food or both with you.
  3. Timings are agreed with your venue.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve on cue.
  5. We clear our area once service ends.

Getting ready for the day

  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
  • Tell us when you want service to start

Your questions about wedding Mexican catering in Winchester

We are having a ceremony at St Swithun-upon-Kingsgate Church: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.

What’s the nearest station to Winchester for guests?

Guests can use Winchester station, about 0.6 miles north of Winchester.

Can we have a build-your-own taco bar?

Yes. We can set up a build-your-own taco bar, served from the truck or a serving table, with fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings.

When should we book?

Early, particularly for summer Saturdays. Even if it’s short notice, it’s worth asking.

How much is a food truck for an event?

It depends on guest numbers, the menu, the length of service and the location. Contact us for a quote.

What areas do you cover?

We cover London and the South East, including Hampshire. Find your area.

Do you need power and water?

Tell us what the site has, such as a supply from the venue near where we’ll park, and we will confirm the arrangements with your quote.

Do you give allergen information?

We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, and give allergen information for every dish. We plan carefully and keep options separate, though we cannot promise a dish is allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.

Comparing your options

Compared with formal catering, a taco bar is relaxed and sociable, but it can still feel like a celebration. Access, parking and the distance to your venue can affect the price, so it helps to tell us about your venue. Your quote confirms the full price.

What you get with us

  • A clear quote
  • Options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests
  • A menu built around your guests
  • A truck or trailer that comes to you

Read our pricing or what Mexican catering costs.

Catering for every guest

We cater for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan guests. To make it work smoothly:

  • Ask about diets and allergies with your RSVPs
  • Tell us when the speeches will be
  • Ask about your date as soon as you have one
  • Flag any coeliac guests or serious allergies

We pack down after service; you carry on celebrating.

Margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can be added.

Popular choices

For event organisers in Winchester

Hosting a party at home? Send a picture of the space and tell us about access, and we’ll tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.

If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We will provide the information the landowner or council asks for from us.

Space, access and the venue

We’ll agree the spot with you before the day. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • Access wide and high enough to drive in, with gates and soft lawns checked first
  • Power and water, which we confirm with you for each booking
  • A clear area in front of the hatch for a queue

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise.

What we offer

  • Guacamole and salsas
  • Margarita bar
  • Taco bar wedding breakfast
  • Burritos and bowls
  • Evening tacos
  • Nachos to share
