Mexican catering in Locks Heath, served fresh

Mobile Mexican catering means the kitchen comes to you: our food truck or trailer parks at your venue and we serve hot food straight from the hatch. No kitchen is needed on site. We serve quesadillas, loaded nachos and fresh salsas and guacamole, and it is a good fit for staff parties and office lunches and charity and school events.

Around Locks Heath, events are often in gardens, fields, local halls or nearby venues. If the road in is narrow or the ground is soft, tell us so we can plan for the truck or trailer. We arrive ready to serve, and clear our own area when service is finished.

Planners, venues and businesses

Booking for a company? Tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll talk you through the process. We can work with your facilities team on access and timings.

For big numbers, we plan service to keep queues short, so guests are looked after quickly. Tell us how long you have for food and drinks.

What Mexican catering costs

Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, because of:

  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
  • Guest numbers
  • How many staff you need
  • How long we’re needed on site

The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Tell us your numbers for an accurate price.

What we need to know

The more we know about your event, the better we can plan. Please include:

  • Your date and when you want service to start
  • What you’d like on the menu
  • A picture of where we’d park
  • Expected numbers

We quote for each event separately, based on what you need. To ask for one, fill in our quote form.

Can I do a taco night myself?

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, with allergen information for every dish.

Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

Why choose Mexican catering in Locks Heath?

Food is cooked to order and served hot, instead of waiting on a buffet.

A truck or trailer suits almost any gathering. In Locks Heath, you could book us for events such as:

  • Leaving parties
  • Garden get-togethers
  • Family gatherings and christenings
  • Festivals, fairs and markets

Guests leaving a church like St John after a christening could walk over to a nearby garden where the tacos are ready.

  • When final numbers are due
  • Who provides plates and napkins
  • How dietary needs and allergies are handled

Locks Heath questions

We are having a ceremony at St John: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. We’d serve at the reception venue rather than at the church itself. Send us the reception address.

Is Locks Heath close to London?

It’s about 67 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

How much will it cost?

Every event is quoted for individually, based on guest numbers, the menu, the venue and timings. For a price, tell us about it on our contact page.

Do you cater for big events?

That depends on the event. As a guide, it’s around 50 to 400 guests; tell us your numbers and we’ll plan around them.

How does your Mexican catering work?

We bring our truck or trailer to your venue, cook to order and serve tacos, burritos and more from the hatch. A build-your-own taco bar is another option.

Do you do a taco bar?

We can. A build-your-own taco bar can be served from the truck or a serving station, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from. Read our taco bar guide.

Is the food very hot?

It is up to you: we can keep the main dishes mild, with hotter salsas served separately.

Can you cater for special diets?

We can. There are vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests. Allergen information is available for every dish.

Step by step

When service finishes, we pack up and leave our area tidy. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. A December event in Locks Heath will be in the dark from about 4:00pm, so a well-lit spot for the queue makes a big difference. In late June, by contrast, daylight lasts until about 9:20pm.

  1. Send us your date, numbers and venue.
  2. We plan a menu that covers every diet.
  3. We check the route in and where the truck or trailer will stand.
  4. Food is served from the hatch or a taco-bar table.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

Before we arrive

  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park
  • Give us your final numbers and diets

  • The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a catering vehicle
  • Space for guests to queue
  • Room for a serving table for the taco bar
